The debut single from Lithium Sea. More to come.
Alexander Muell's compositions, with his sometimes heavy, sometimes raw and portentous, still fluorescent ambient sounds and McClelland's voice, always fluctuating between fragility and coolness, complement as much as they oscillate. McClelland's lyrics catapult the melancholia, longing and hedonism of the romantic poets into the anonymity, lostness and restlessness of life in Berlin. Together they create a sonic and lyrical spectrum between intimacy and remoteness. A state of being which we, especially in this city, experience a lot between day and night. Forever changing.
Hand-inked lyric sheets. Each text exists as an edition of thirteen signed & numbered prints — and one original. When they're gone, they're gone.
The full lyric, written by hand in ink. No two lines fall the same way twice.
